So, for most of us in the Atlantic Northeast, winter was a non-event. But, true to form, we did get a snow 'storm' in late March.
I will leave it to the scientists to debate whether the weather has made viruses, ticks and other pests worse this year. But this I DO know . . . don't plan your future harvest by worrying about past events. Time only moves one direction for us. And if we don't get going on planting, now, we will be searching for canned vegetables when autumn arrives.
