A tale of Two Tomato colors
So everyone knows a Roma Tomato, yes? One ingredient of easy-peasy Caprese Salad, the base of a great marinara, or one of any other number of uses. But . . . if you can't wait for those Romas, what are you to do? One word for you. Actually . . . two. Cream Sausage. We eat these about 4 weeks before the Roma. Just as sweet, and extremely prolific.
Gearing up at Sustainable Seeds!
It's hard to believe, but planting is just around the corner! This week we begin cleaning and disinfecting everything in the greenhouse. I wouldn't say it is one of my favorite tasks, but the anticipation of new sprouts is definitely exciting!
We waited all summer for this weather!
Sometimes, you have to get outside the greenhouse to really experience life. But you may want to put something a little bit more on. And hang on to your hat!!
